Active Retirement

Keep every standing date on your calendar.

Sound familiar?

You don't need every box — one or two checked hard is enough.

  • Mornings start stiffer and take longer to loosen than they used to
  • A day in the garden costs you the two days after it
  • Getting up from grandkid floor time takes negotiation
  • Your walks have quietly gotten shorter
  • Everyone keeps telling you it's “just age” — and you're not buying it

They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.

How the program runs

Assessed, planned, worked, proven.

The assessment

A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.

Your plan

A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.

The work

Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools — you never have to.

The re-test

We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.

Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.

What we work on

Where this program spends its time.

Hips & knees

The joints your favorite things depend on — supported by the soft tissue around them.

Hands & forearms

Gardening, golf, and grandkids all run through your grip.

Mobility that supports balance

Ankles, hips, and confidence on your feet.

Keeping what you have

And winning some back. The goal is your calendar, not a clinical number.

What changes

What you get back, in plain terms.

  • Mornings that loosen in minutes, not hours.
  • A garden day that costs a good night's sleep — nothing more.
  • Saying yes to the trip, the round, the floor, without doing math first.

Every one of these is checked against your own starting point — that's what the re-test step is for.

An honest fit check

This program fits — or it doesn't.

This is your program if…
Start elsewhere if…
You're active and fully intend to stay that way
This works alongside your doctor's care for arthritis or joint issues — never instead of it
Stiffness is starting to edit what you say yes to
New, unexplained pain — get it looked at first, then come back
You want a plan, not a standing appointment forever
Recent surgery — bring your surgeon's clearance to the assessment
You'll do a little homework between visits — a little is all it takes

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers — and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.

Program questions

Before you book.

Am I too old for this kind of work?

No — and Chris won't be the first to tell you that. Tissue responds at every age. The pressure, pace, and plan are built around your body and your comfort, and re-tested as you go.

Is the work gentle?

As gentle as it needs to be and as focused as it can be. Nothing happens without your comfort — you set the ceiling, always.
