Soccer match under a dramatic evening sky in a packed stadium

Soccer Recovery

Fresh legs by the second match of the weekend.

Sound familiar?

You don't need every box — one or two checked hard is enough.

  • Legs that feel heavy by Sunday's match — every tournament
  • Groin and hip flexors that are always one sprint from too tight
  • Calves that threaten to cramp late in the second half
  • Quads that never fully let go between sessions
  • Your touch feels slower when your body is stiff — and you know it

They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.

How the program runs

Assessed, planned, worked, proven.

The assessment

A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.

Your plan

A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.

The work

Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools — you never have to.

The re-test

We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.

Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.

What we work on

Where this program spends its time.

Quads, hamstrings & calves

The engine room — where match load accumulates fastest.

Hip flexors & adductors

The soccer signature: sprinting, cutting, and striking all live here.

Ankles

Mobility that protects everything above it.

Season pacing

When to work hard on tissue and when to let it recover — planned around your fixture list.

What changes

What you get back, in plain terms.

  • Quicker turnaround between matches — Sunday legs closer to Saturday legs.
  • Warmups that start loose instead of fighting your own hips.
  • A season that doesn't accumulate in your body by October.

Every one of these is checked against your own starting point — that's what the re-test step is for.

An honest fit check

This program fits — or it doesn't.

This is your program if…
Start elsewhere if…
You play multiple matches a week or tournament weekends
A suspected strain or tear — get imaging or medical eval first
The same muscle groups tighten after every heavy load
Pain that changes how you run — see a provider before bodywork
You're managing a long season, not a single complaint
You're under 18 — look at Youth Athlete Recovery, built for exactly that
You want recovery planned, not improvised

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers — and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.

Program questions

Before you book.

Can I get worked on during a tournament weekend?

Tournament timing works best when it's planned before the weekend starts. If you're trying to schedule around match times, call or text Chris with the tournament schedule so he can tell you what's realistic.

My kid plays club soccer — is this the right program?

For players under 18, Youth Athlete Recovery is the better fit — same goals, age-appropriate work, and a parent in the room for every visit.
